Markel Specialty appoints chief claims officer

Markel has introduced the appointment of Jamie Carsey (pictured above) as chief claims officer, overseeing US and Bermuda claims operations throughout the firm’s specialty division.

Carsey joined Markel in 2017 and has held numerous positions, most lately as senior managing director, claims – authorized and head of litigation.
